ok, so i went to see the cure last night....oh wow....oh wow...oh my God...wow...WOW!
last night was probably the besst night i've had in my whole entire life...with exception to my birth.
so we get there and it's fun...we have shitty seats in the grass but it's all good...
the second band starts to play (the rapture) and this guy dressed in a giant banana costume comes along and starts dancing with everyone, before we know it there's a huge dance pit and so we go join. it's was hilarious because i was jamed up against a reallllly hot guy...yumm. anyway, the song stops and i decide to go give the banana a big hug..soon aftre he takes of his head and he is reallllly cute....so that was fun.
ok, so then my sister's friend jim comes along when the rapture is getting off stage and interpol's gettin' set up...then we decide to sneak into the stadium where you're pretty darn close and i could see fucking paul banks' facial expressions!!!!!!!! they were amazing they played like geniuses! it was just wow....wow. and then carlos D. wsa smoking a cigarettewhile he was playing the bass which is cool because he's carlos D. but then the guitarist had a guitar solo and then and then all of the band mates had the behind the scenes people brought everyone in the band cigarettes which was pretty lame because only carls D. is cool enough to do that, when all of them do that it's lame. anyway, it was amazing
then, the cure played and we had amazing seats and it was craqzy, and then they played fascination street... woah, just amazing just i'm going nuts right now just thinknign about it...i guess you get the idea...and so meredith and i start dancing through the whole thing and we get people around ius to dnace and we're screaming and this girl in front of us was trotally smashed...much like everyone else and was trying to spin mattie and was stmbling around with this hilarious giggly smile of her face,..yeah, it was amazing. and this guy in front of us waited 15 years in russia to come and see a cure concert. yeah, it waas coooooooooool. just amaazing....i've got pictures later to come... i can't believe i saw robert smith in person.
