I don't think I am supposed to start my summer this way...

Yesterday I was involved in a car accident. Erika was driving her car and she was making a u-turn. She did not see the pickup truck coming our way and the old man driving it slammed right into Erika's side door. The glass shattered and went everywhere. I was in the front passenger seat and Melissa was in the back with her feet propped up on the seat. After the ambulance came and the firefighters pulled all of us out and put us on gurneys, they took us to the hospital. Luckily, there were no serious injuries. Erika had a huge gash right above her eye and had to get 5 stitches and Melissa and I sprained our ankles (mine was probably just from my previous injury). It was very scary and we are sssooo fortunate because Erika's car was basically totaled. It could have been fatal for anyone involved and I thank God that everyone is safe.

And this all came about the day after my sophomore year ended, sending me into the summer.

Phew.
