Blah. I got sick to my stomach for the first time in forever today. The last time i got sick and threw up was when i was 15 and had the whooping cough, and i wasnt even nauseous then. I think i was in elementary school the last time i had a stomach flu. In any case I had to leave my english midterm halfway through and i completely missed my econ one, but alls well as I'll make them up tomorrow and friday.
Is it sad that I'm using Katie to help me study for my math midterm? Theres no questioning that shes smarter than me, its just a matter of coming to terms with the fact she probably knows how to do all my work better than me, and could probably go in and get better grades on all my exams even though she didnt learn the material and I had. Good thing shes retarded when it comes to anything else in life, or i would look preeeettttyyy sad in comparison...
Ive applied to all my schools. first semester is done. midterms will be over on friday. things worked out with the sleepover mess. my hip flexor has healed. brokeback mountain won best picture in the golden globes. i may have somewhat bombed my 2nd quarter grades (okay... totally bombed), but my GPA was high enough before so that im not worried. my parents are letting me push my curfew back until 1. things are good. theyre not amazing, or phenomenal or completely worry-free, but honestly, when things are that good theyre only bound to get worse. everything now is okay, and in true stoner fashion i will quote bob marley in saying "everythings gonna be alright". it may not be exactly how i had wished it was going to be, but im happy regardless and thats all i can really hope for in the end.
