Friday marked the second time I've been met at the airport with a giant "WELCOME HOME CARLA" sign. I feel so loved.
Saturday, nothing.
Sunday, complete emotional breakdown due to stress, argument with mom, resolution with mom, lots of running, lots of ice cream, lots of feeling better.
Then, TODAY.
1) I had a SPECTACULAR morning. Anything involving Keith is amazing. Anything involving pancakes is amazing. Anything involving Wal-Mart kids' clothes is...amusing, at the very least. AND, I got to visit my #1 personal hero, Mrs. Mitchell. Therefore, my morning WINS.
2) Afternoon: Had my first gelato experience. I'm hooked.
3) Late-afternoon/early-evening: BOUGHT NEW KEYBOARD. The piano type, not the computer type. I'm beyond psyched to hook it up and play on/with it.
4) Evening: Jerry came over and we watched 2 1/2 hours' worth of Legends of the Hidden Temple and some creepy On-Demand short films and an awesomely hilarious British reality TV show called Ladette to Lady.
I don't remember the last time I had a Monday this gooood.
