Chameleon Casting?

A woman came into my work the other day to buy clothes for some production company who was doing a film. She said I looked great and should contact her casting agency because they'd love me. I've heard of Chameleon Casting, and their website seems pretty encouraging, but does anyone out there know anything about them - experiences or otherwise? ( Read more... )

Oooh I remember coming across them when I was agency shopping last year - can't remember why I ruled them out though... Perhaps just because they are purely a casting agency and not a modelling agency, meaning TV/film only, no catwalk/photographic.

Make sure you find out about their fees... Good rule of thumb is if they charge joining and monthly fees, they're probably not making enough from commission and therefore not worth your time or money. The only fees they should charge is 10 - 20% commission, and perhaps for headshots/compcards/online casting database fees (ECaster etc.)

I know of an awesome agency you may be interested in joining (I will be leaving mine for them) but they won't be taking on new talent for quite a while yet, ask me about it a few months time...
