It's time for a somethin' hot mid-summer update!!!!
First T we must cross: graduation! We did it, and it was long. Standing there in the bathroom with all those girls I never cared about, never will care about, and most likely will never see again as long as I live, sharing bobby pins and adjusting each other's collars like they actually mattered. Then, wandering around that enormous room full of caps and gowns finding any and everyone we ever thought kindly of and hugging them like the world was going to internally combust the moment we moved the tassel from one side of our mortar board to the other. As I said, it was long. I might have dozed off if not for the individual seated next to me who shall remain anonymous text messaging his girlfriend in the audience throughout the entire event. Then we all went outside and cried.
The point is, I and losing interest in this entry. Abby and Laura, if you wish you can pick up the slack as far as summer updatin' goes.
Soon to come are pictures of my most recent adventure to Lake Martin, Alabama, where the closest town is called Equality, which consists of a Baptist Church, produce stand, antique store that advertises "We got Homemade Bread!" and a volunteer fire department. Yes, the Equality Volunteer Fire Department, "Come one, come all. Jesus is Lord."
