-What was the first song you ever heard by 6?:
Would've been a long time ago, but I'm almost positive it was "Bathysphere" or "Goldfish Bowl."
-What is your favorite song of 8?:
"Praise Your Name." That song will scar you deeply if you let it.
-What kind of impact has 1 left on your life?
I can't say Joanna Newsom has had much of an impact aside from giving me a new obsession. Over the past two months I've not listened to anyone more than her.
-What is your favorite lyric of 5?:
"Maybe if i pray to the lord above, I'll get some sleep, but the lord don't give a shit about me." "Slender fingers would hold me, slender limbs would hold me, and you could say my name, like you knew my name." It's hard to choose with Chan's lyrics, they're all quite good.
-How many times have you seen 4 live?:
Four times.
-What is your favorite song by 7?:
"I'm Not Afraid to Die."
-Is there any song by 3 that makes you sad?
They're more of a good times band, though I guess there's some association between "Now I'm Even Further Away" and "If You Lived Here, You'd Be Home Now" and an abruptly ended romance from the summer.
-What is your favorite song by 9?:
Hmm.... "Neighborhood #3 Power Out" and "Wake Up."
-When did you first get into 1?
I don't recall at all. It hasn't been too long, nor could it have been. It's only this year that she became a favorite though.
-How did you get into 3?
Some press had called them the "Australian Belle & Sebastian." Quite accurate.
-What is your favorite song by 4?:
"Ten-Day Interval" because of the extensive use of vibraphone. Anything TNT is great.
-How many times have you seen 9 live?:
Haven't seen Arcade Fire, but I hear it's something to see.
-What is a good memory concerning 2?:
There are a lot. The *ONE* good remaining memory of this girl I dated, Kristen, we were at a bus stop coming home from a concert. All alone, not a soul but us, she was lying against me and singing NMH songs out loud (and while she was a crazy bitch, she was a great, great singer.)
-Is there a song by 8 that makes you sad?:
Fuck, all of them.

"Only Skin" on the yet unreleased Ys, which is breath-taking.
-How did you become a fan of 10?
I heard "Sunflower" on Epitonic.com and immediately bought Things We Lost in the Fire.
