So what did I do over break? Well, mostly eat and sleep, but I got to see my friends occasionally, and of course my family too.
I spent Christmas Eve at my sisters' house in Castro Valley. We spent the whole day making dinner (but then, I woke up at 1). Dinner was good...mmmm... But my oldest sister and little sister were arguing in the beginning. It seems like lately they've just been going at it all the time.
After eating dinner my siblings and my oldest sister's friend, we opened gifts and then went to a Christmas play at the Neighborhood Church. (When my sister said that, I thought she said a neighborhood church, not the Neighborhood Church.) It was pretty good. Afterwards my older sister had to drive me and my younger sister home because my older sister's mom was staying over.
On Christmas day, my siblings and I went to Oakland Chinatown for dim sum. Then, after sitting in the restuarant for what seemed forever talking, we went to Jack London to watch "Meet the Fockers." It was very funny, I liked it better than the first one.
I went to Charles' house New Year's Eve. It was fun, we played board games and Mimi taught me how to play poker  Though Keith and I had to have Alicia drive us home to get the games. So first we played Cranium...lol...and then Hubbub =) Some of those categories were kinda hard...like the Cliche Cafe when we had to act out cliches...After the board games, we watched the countdown to midnight, had cheese cake (and other food) and then Vanessa, Keith and I played Halo2. :bummed:I suck so bad, and Keith killed me and Vanessa so many times! It was fun, but I wanted to kill Keith just once in the game =P
Today was my second day of classes. The day felt very long for some reason. I woke up at 7:30, but then I've woken up at that time before and it didn't feel that long. I felt productive though, since I did some of my math homework. I'm happy with my classes so far. I wish I could do more though.
I need to start on my RA application; after I get that done, I will only have my classes to worry about.
