as i slipped from unconsciousness to consciousness this morning, the words "abre tu ojos, abre tu corazon" were on my mind. i then spent the next five minutes debating the grammar of that sentence, because i don't think "abre" is the correct verb tense, and i couldn't remember if corazon was el or la. and i couldn't remembered if that mattered. eight years of spanish classes only so i could dream in spanish, and then not even speak it correctly. i like it better when i dream in japanese.

i think i'm going to go out to eat breakfast. maybe i'll start doing this on all of my days off, since i only get the one.
