more endless rambles.
I woke up early this morning, I heard the rumble of a firetruck driving outside of my window, it was loud enough to wake me, I looked down and saw my cat laying across my exposed leg. First of all that was cute as fuck, secondly it was supper sweet, I don't know about you but I get suuuuuper creeped out if I wake up mid-night and have a limb exposed outside of my covers! So my theory is that Mia was saving my exposed leg! lmao...glass half full. I got up in time to see the ambulance drive. There is something unnerving about a ambulance siliently driving by, lights flashing, no sound....nothing. Naturally I went pee, tmi. I climbed back into bed and had a mini nightmare. I dreamt that when I laid my head on my pillow little ticks were crawling around......**shutters** I'm positive its because right before I went to bed last night my roomie found a tick crawling on her....**shivers**.......oh hell no.
I gave Mia a bath today, she isn't too happy about it, I think next time she won't so sweetly save my exposed leg :/ But she needed a bath and the weather is nice.
I started organizing things in my room today, infact I made a playlist of music videos to play while I cleaned. I still need to learn how to use my Ipod....haha. I'm currently in love with 2 songs, not because they are amazing, to the tell the truth I'm not sure why I like them so much, but they are "Dirty King" by The Cliks and "Crazy" by Bitter Sober.
I can't wait for July to come, I am moving out of my apartment and into a sweet little two bedroom house with a friend of a friend! lol..small town Napa for you. She is a ceramic artist and is dating my loooong time Art mentor, again small town. I'm so excited for some studio space! and garden space...I can't wait to work on the garden! speaking of gardening, I love arugula....I have been putting it in everything! Probably even things that don't call for it! lol.
I finally quit my second job :) boo less money, yay more time! I have been (and plan on doing more) painting a lot more, I try to at least once a week. I missed it. I am working on a random project right now, maybe more details later.
I applied for finacial aid, hopefully I'll be back in college next year, I only have a year and a half maybe 2 years for my BA. I'm applying to Smith's Ada Commstock program (Thats a nice way of saying "non-traditionally aged college students; 24 and up! lol)
SF pride is coming up! yay! But first I will be spending a week in IDAHO! lol
I suppose I should go get ready for work.
