Ten Severus/Lily first times
1. The first Christmas: 9 years old, at Lily’s house. I got a new coat from her mother.
2. First time I stayed up all night talking: 11 years old- talking about what we’d see when we got to Hogwarts.
3. First fight over a girl: 11 years old- with James Potter
4. First time I snuck out of Hogwarts, off grounds: 13 years old, with Lily just walking.
5. First time I made a girl cry: 13 years old, when Lily saw me and Wilkes with a couple of Ravenclaws
6. First time I slept outside of someone’s door: 13 years old- after that incident.
7. First time I knew I’d lose her: …that night with the Fat Lady
8. First time I said goodbye: two years later, with the Fat Lady between us.
9. First time I felt fear: realizing I had lost at her sixteen and what I had lost her for, and learning I could live without her.
10. First time I betrayed everything I am and was and would be: the night I heard what my Lord thought the prophecy meant and knowing then I could never live without her.
