Terminator: Salvation
Well, saw it. Wasn't it supposed to come out today, and not yesterday?
It was okay. I don't know if I'm just getting bored with stuff, or if stuff is getting too predictable?
The action was okay, camera-work was good, and the acting was okay, too. *shrug* A few lines were just really awkward, but overall it was okay. Really predictable, like I said, though. And I'm not sure about Anton Yelchin(?) being Kyle Reese. And Christian Bale? Totally trying to be Batman again. You can be a serious dude without grinding out your voice, right?
I have to say, this movie was a lot better than the third one. How did John go from being a total wimpy loser to Christian Bale, though? And the new T-800 was pretty cool. ;)
I don't really have any more to say... Marcus Wright was interesting, predictable, and slightly pointless. Did they ever explain why he was in prison to begin with? No? I just didn't connect with him much. *shrug* And there were moments where it seemed like they were trying too hard to emulate the first movie. And those tall/gun-toting terminators looked toooootally fake. :|
I really think the next Transformers movie looks like crap. :| But District 9, Surrogates, and Sherlock Holmes look neat.
