The City's still standing, I see!  The flow of time here isn't synchronized with the progression of time in other worlds, it seems--I thought I might find myself years misplaced.  Fortunately, it doesn't seem as though much has changed.

Wonderful! Although I've found that not much damage lasts here, what with people returning to life and most structural damage mending itself after curses run their courses.

Mere words can't express how glad I am to be away from the Vatican. My superior, Cardinal Jinette, wasn't inclined to believe that I had been taken to another world against my will. I may need to lie next time.
