It's utterly impossible to keep track of time in this City.

The creatures that visited were rather interesting, though! The hair beast was a very cooperative experimental subject, although I don't fully understand why it and its counterpart were so determined to return our hair. "A great due was returned"? Utterly baffling ( Read more... )

I was honestly too afraid to even read or listen to what she was saying but...

If this were the case, and if she is the mother of the dead that walk in the City... I guess that's why life doesn't have much meaning to her? She did destroy an entire building...

I don't blame you, honestly. I missed several messages myself.

I suppose so, but I don't believe she purposely harmed anyone. No matter, though! They're gone for the moment, and we don't need to worry about buildings toppling or hair attacking at the moment.

I'm afraid I can't help you with your research, Carl-san. I'm hardly knowledgeable about Japanese history, much less Latin, Egyptian, and other... uhm, myths?

Oh, but I've been meaning to tell you. I've met a new friend. Lacus Clyne will be staying in apartment 928, next to me. Lacus' and my apartment are adjoined, so I guess that kind of makes us roommates~

There's no need to worry about that! We all have our spheres of knowledge.

Wonderful! Perhaps having someone living in such close proximity will further mute the ticking.

Mm-hm~ The cafe has been keeping me busy, as well as cleaning up all that hair, unfortunately, so I barely notice the ticking now-a-days~

We'll probably throw a welcome dinner for her next week. I hope you could join us!

The hair has been a nuisance, but I'm glad your job is keeping you occupied. I suspect the City's easier to cope with if you keep yourself busy.

I'd be delighted to attend!
