Part six!
51.
Little Wonders || Rob Thomas: this is the best song for a bad day. Not only does it make me happier all on its own, it also reminds me of Meet the Robinsons, a movie that also always cheers me up.
52.
I’m Going To Stop Pretending That I Didn’t Break Your Heart || Eels: because sometimes you need an apology, even if it's late in coming.
53.
Full of Grace || Sarah McLachlan: this song feels like sunrise to me. I'm... really not sure I can explain it better than that.
54.
It Don’t Matter To The Sun || Rosie Thomas: I've been here, where the world keeps going around you when it feels like it's ending in front of your eyes. This song was like finding the words for what I didn't know how to say, once upon a time.
55.
The Last Song I’m Wasting On You || Evanescence: this... kind of goes with the last song, in that it starts in that same sort of place, but this is also the song about standing up after that and walking away and not looking back.
56.
Here’s To The Night || Eve 6: this song reminds me of one of my very best friends in high school. He used to sing it to me all the time. (We still talk, and occasionally we send this vid to each other. It's... quite lovely.)
57.
Almost Lover || A Fine Frenzy: letting go and moving on but not forgetting.
58.
Heartlines || Florence + The Machine: to me, this one is about being true to yourself, even when it's not the easy thing to do.
59.
April Come She Will || Simon & Garfunkel: I really like Simon & Garfunkel, and this is one of my favorites of theirs. It's simple and gentle and has a lot of meaning that isn't apparent at first, which kind of encapsulates their music.
60.
All Will Be Well || Gabe Dixon Band: it's like someone crawled into my head and figured out what I needed to hear, and then wrote this song: "all will be well, even after all the promises you've broken to yourself/all will be well/you can ask me ho, but only time will tell."
