two RL updates in one
1. Thank you so much to all of you who have been thinking of my family and praying for us. My cousin is home from the hospital and doing fine. It turns out that he has a really rare allergy to the meds they gave him to bring the fever down, which was causing him to have seizures. Now that it's worked its way out of his system, he's doing much better.
2. I finally, finally had the second part to that two-part thing my doctor was going to try on my eye. To make a long and truthfully boring story short, he thinks it went way better than he was anticipating, and I might not need the surgery I thought I was going to have to have. For now, I have a little bit of aching in my future unti my eye heals from the laser procedure, but he's pretty sure the migraines are going to stop and the pressure is going to go down, which means I won't have to have more surgery (for now, at least).
