Ugh, today.
I'd appreciate any spare thoughts or prayers at the moment.
I'm just back from the eye doctor. For those of you who aren't aware, I'm pretty severely visually impaired. I'm completely blind in my left eye, and have compromised vision in my right. I can't drive, can't read without a magnifier, and it's difficult for me to do some day-to-day things without assistance. I deal with it, I do what I can, and I try not to dwell on it.
So, as I said, I went to the eye doctor today (one of several eye doctors, the main one). It was just a normal checkup, during which I told him that I've been having headaches since my last surgery. (When I say headaches - I have headaches a lot, and have for a while, but these - they're been bad. Really bad.) He took a look, immediately called another doctor in for a consult, and called my eye specialist/surgeon, who wants me in at the asscrack of dawn for yet another exam and a 'procedure' that I won't explain, because, you're welcome.
All of this to say: I'm not that worried about it, I'm actually relieved because apparently it'll drop my migraines from one every week or two back to normal, but I'd appreciate any thoughts and prayers that you can send.
