Dear Craigslist Landlords,
Thank you for posting your rental units on Craigslist. However, I find it really annoying when you only post one tiny corner of an empty room and expect your ad to entice me. I only view posts with pictures, and you are wasting my time when:
You only post a picture of the bathroom
Post generic cute animal pictures instead of images of the rental property
Don't post a picture of the outside

So I got approved to be a recruiter in Ohio. I'm pretty excited about this. It is too early for me to be looking at houses and such but I like to see what exactly my money will get me there. It seems as though apartments are really overpriced when compared to houses. Also, I've been watching these ads for about 5 months now and some of the same nasty terrible houses are still being posted every day. If the house is going for $200 a month and no one is biting, it's probably in need of some work. I don't know about you all but I enjoy cabinets and walls that don't look like they have been vomited on.
I'll be leaving Germany in early August and dumping the wife off in Ohio before I go to Texas for two months for training. My thought right now is to find a furnished apartment for her to crash in until I get back. By that point my household goods should be back from Germany so we can find a place to live. The thought of buying a house has crossed my mind. Can the housing market really get much worse?
