For the first time in recent history, I actually went out and purchased a fair amount of new clothing, which is very unlike me, but I've noticed that since I have been living out on my own especially I've cared less and less about how I actually present myself, and although as a male my role in all this is to not really give a shit, I think my lack of caring had gone a bit too far. All of my clothes were starting to get torn up and the print on all my t-shirts is getting worn. Shit, I still wear some shirts that I was wearing during my first couple of years of high school.
You know what I just realized? It has almost been ten years since I first started high school... that's pretty insane.
So I guess one of my near-future goals is to get rid of a lot of clothes and start over with a new wardrobe. I also bought some shorts for the first time in, oh, probably at least five years.
I also bought a new CD player for my car today that is MP3 compatible! I'm taking it back to Circuit City tomorrow to have them install it. My Blaupunkt was starting to go to shit anyway. It gave me a good five years, though, so I can't really complain. Now if only I had some subwoofers... >=)
Yesterday I ordered a new heatsink and fan which I hope will take care of the temperature problems I've been having. Although my PC seems to run fine when I'm not playing a game on it, it still runs a bit hot (like 70c). That should be coming in the mail in the near future.
And our landlord is sending us our lease in the mail so we can resign. That is awesome. She's also leaving our rent as is. That is also awesome because I'm not sure that everyone here can afford to pay more than they already are.
I just need to be careful about all these credit purchases I've been making. At least I don't owe on my amp for over a year, but I need to make sure I start paying for it soon so I don't forget about it.
