my ears still haven't popped.

i still have the dirt under my fingernails and i feel a little lonely in a room alone, but i put new pajamas on and i'm anxious to test out what sleeping on a matress feels like. after a week of living at a commune in new orleans, it is strange to be back in brooklyn -- dealing with electric bills, answering e-mails, worrying about finances. but i couldn't live amongst the mold and decay forever, and its nice to be back (to some degree). i just hope my tan doesn't fade too quickly.
