Snowblowers sound almost exactly like lawnmowers. Does that make you happy or sad?
Le premier jour de Mars!
The first day of March! Three cheers! Hip, hip, etc...
I made a billion cookies with "3/1" frosted on them last night and handed them out today in celebration of new life. Oh, the promise. oh, the potential. The fortune cookie fortune sitting right next to me reads: "A new outlook brightens your image and brings new friends."
I'm feeling very lonely lately, but there's a purpose behind it, I know. Lonelyness is confusing because it strikes often when one is very un-alone. I really need to concentrate on other things. Maybe I should implement the fortune cookie advice. Man oh man, today had thee most hardcore sunset I've seen in a long time. It was all pink champagne cotton-candy explosion with a shaft of light straight from Heaven's Floor to beyond the horizon. God knows I Love a good sunset, so He sends me them when I especially need it, I think. Someday I'll try and catch a sunset. I'll drive west and west till it beats me to it.
"I am one hundred years old." is a very powerful sentance. So is, "I am Asia."
So I have bright prospects for this month. One week, then we have spring break. I don't have any plans, like the rest of the world, but RTD is playing a show on the 18th. (Jon, can you make it?) Then at the end of the month is Senior trip. Man, what an apex. I am officially sick and tired of everything having to do with anything having to do with college. I think I'm just done with it all, and no closer to any decisions.
My third grade teacher subbed for my AP English teacher today. It was amazing to catch up, because she had a couple of us when we were but wee tikes. She still has the same effervescent personality that it takes to teach elementary school and clever ideas to get us to learn. I must say, they work far better than any of Mrs. Wittkamper's methods. Even though her spahgetti poems and dynamite stick seem so elementary, Okam's Razor rings true: all things being equal, the simplest solutions are often correct.
all things being equal. all things being equal.
Anybody want to travel with me? I'm free in a week and a half. I'm broke, but too cold to stay in Wisconsin. Who's got a rich uncle in the South of France? Anybody?...anybody?...
Heck, who's got a rich uncle in Wisconsin?
Heck, who knows anybody who can tell a clever enough story to get my mind off of here?
Heck, all things being equal, I should probably just take a week long bubble bath.
