After running into Loki and discovering Natasha's way of dealing with the troublesome house guest, Steve knew he had to have a serious discussion with Natasha. As leader of the team, any punishments should be discussed with him. Though Loki wasn't exactly welcome in the Tower, Natasha's brand of discipline was particularly cruel and unusual and without any obvious provocation on Loki's part since his indefinite stay. Her behavior was worrisome, to say the least.
As he walked into the gym, he rolled his shoulders back and took a deep breath. Natasha could be intimidating, but Steve hoped this conversation would go easily enough. He also hoped she had a good reason for her actions.
"Excuse me, Ma'am, could we have a word?" Steve asked, interrupting Natasha's workout.
