Who: Loki Laufeydottir and Nikolai Romanov
When: Tuesday night, post Tower-break
Where: Loose in New York
What: Oddly similar to the "Where"
Nikolai really should have snapped the bitch's neck when he had the chance.
He had every opportunity. The demi-goddess hadn't detected him in the shadows, and her back was turned. But he had been more compromised than he had realized by Loki Laufeydottir's invasion of Claire, and he found himself caught up in the emotional release taking his rage out on the demi-goddess caused.
Stupid, yes. But also past. Thor had found him, the heroes discovered Loki's presence, and somehow the heroes decided it was best to let the psychopath stay in the Tower.
And now those same heroes deemed it acceptable to let the Liesmith out among the people she had attempted to subjugate. Fucking Banner. Adopting a stray did not make Loki tame, not by a long shot, and yet he and Claire seemed to be the only two to remember that.
Which is why he was the one out in the sleet and slush of a New York winter, tracking the wayward Loki. Who had decided to rob a Tiffany's.
Maybe it wasn't too late to just go back to S.H.I.E.L.D.
