Round 11pm i head out on a walk to just get off my ass for the day. Ended up out near the highway so i decided to walk to the SouthGate Plaza and get a drink from the gas station. It was open but both doors were locked. Strange. A window was open so i went over to it and summoned the old man working that night. Apparently after 8pm they do everything through the window as if it were a drive through. This pissed me off cause i didn't know what drink i wanted to get, normally i'll just look at what they have to offer and whatnot. With nothing better on mind i decided to get a Litre of Cola, or a Pepsi if you will. As i waited for the old man to hobble over and get it i spied Tim Hortins across the street. Pepsi in hand i marched over. Time for munchies. The lady workin that night was a hottie. As i left an old woman that looked very much like the crypt keeper in a hair net walked in with a broom eager to do some sweeping. I carried on. Jumping the ditch was funit was only 4 feet wide but it was deep enough that if you fell in it, you aint ever getting out. Or at least it just looked that was in the none existant lights that were around. On the other side of the overpass i found a trail leading in the general direction i wanted to go. It went along side the highway sound barrier all the way up the hill. It was very interesting. At one point i swear i seen a small bog to my right. Walked across a big huge frozen mud puddle then up a steep hill since the route along the wall got very wet and mucky. At the top of this hill, it was a nice little sight of the freeway overpass. Standing between 2 trees that acted like frames it looked like it coulda been a painting. if someone were to ever paint a highway for some reason, that is. I carried on. The two paths linked up again and came to the road that my venture first started on. Hurray.
