dinner with the family went well
it was a business/ mom's birthday dinner.
anyway business wise...
the promotion is official.
I will now be moving to the newer club, the one on the upper west side.
he's making me business cards, giving me an extension.. and poof I'm the general manager.
I'm taking over managing Wed with my sister, managing Fri & Sat with my step bro David...and still working with Eric Monday.
I hate moving clubs, I love the one I'm in....but at the newer one... there are 3 show rooms, and numerous shows throughout the night. it's intense.... but I'm going to be training this weekend with the boss, and the manager that's leaving.
the boss wants me to train under him, since there are things he wants to show me personally.
anyway, i've trained 5 years for this...under an awesomely strong women..(who wanted crack but when she wasn't on it, she was amazing)
i've been tested, and put up against the wall and had to grow a back bone for this day.
he didn't give the job to his own son, he told us at dinner.... and Dave understood.
because he doesn't have a back bone like me, but it's a family business... and he'll have to learn.
but anyway,
that's it for now...
