(no subject)
I KNOW you're wondering about me.
Here goes my lovelies.
The drive was super easy and fun. My dad bought my goodies for my fridge when we got here and him and Linda put together a care basket with eveyrthing i asked for!! AWESOME!
So we unloaded everything into my room which was a real workout since i'm on the third floor.
Then I said g'bye!
No tears from me when i said bye to ANYONE. I'm a good girl. Anyhoot!
I then started tackling my room and I"m pissed cuz I didn't bring enough friggin hangers! Not even close so I had to put so much stuff in drawers and I hate that. I like to SEE my options in the morning. I digress.
This was a friggin TASK! Two hours later and I was NOT done but M and I from my theatre class had agreed to meet up.
So we did! She's a nice girl and her parents were great fun! We went to the tech center so she could get signed up then her parents treated me to dinner with them at Uno's! It was so nice!
And they said they would pick up an ethernet cord and hangers for me last night when they went shopping - so i hope they did cuz Ireally wanna connect to the internet from my room and obviously... i did not bring the siad ethernet cord... booo!
But I hope they got those things for me - how nice!
Then I went BACK to my room and worked on it for even longer andit's finally done and i adore it = so cute! This of course was BEFORE roomie moved in so hopefully it'll still be cute when I come back after she's unpacked later.
Anyway- the beds are elevated and i have to climb on a chair to get into mine... lmao...
So - after settling everything in I was alllll alone - listened to music, wrote in journal, made to do lists... and froze.
Even with teh air off and a sweater andpants on - even under the blankets... it is FREEZING in there. FREEZING. It was absurd.
Anyway.
Today - this morning was super nice. Practiced my audition material and I really like what I've picked out. But who knows what these odds are. There are an absurd number of talented belters in this conservatory and i'm kinda low on the totem pole - u know what i mean? yep. u do.
Finally roomie came :) I left her to unpack and headed in the direction of one building... did not find it... so ended up here instead!
And that is that.
