The thing I miss most about working part time is afternoon rainstorms. Like missing snow days from up north. Florida can rain like nobody's business. It's bright and shiny and then it gets so dark and the rain descends all noisy and fractious, leaving you in a cocoon of lamplight.

and yet it's so peaceful.
