Today was an amazing day. The perfect end to a stressful week.
Today, thanks to J's parents, we got to go golfing at the
Slammer & Squire. It was a blast. Now I haven't actually played a round of golf since before I actually took golf lessons and that was four years ago. I was a bit nervous. I remembered everything I had learned at the driving range in my lessons though and played the best round of golf I've ever played.
The best part came on the 18th hole where I managed to chip it in from about 20 yards away. Dumb luck to be sure but it was just about the coolest thing ever. Perfect way to end the best round I've ever played, at the nicest course I've ever played.
That picture also has the honor of being the last picture I took with my Canon PowerShot. It officially became J's when we got back home and
this was waiting from me. Yup, I finally got the Rebel XT that I've wanted for a long time now. It's sweet!
I test drove it when we went out tonight to look at Christmas lights. We usually do that on Christmas Eve but we had to do it early this year since we're going to Tennessee. Now, since I probably won't be on again before we leave and I don't know if I'll be on at all next week, I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. Stay safe.
Merry Christmas.
