It Was Fair
I went to the Darke County Fair yesterday. I hadn't gone in several years and this was the 150th year of the fair, so I went. It was alright I guess, but it didn't seem like they did anything special for the 150 anniversary. It's pretty much a standard county fair, with all the livestock, produce, and craft displays, and rides, games, and concession stands. I used go there every year as a kid, which may be why this year seemed kinda so-so. Reality never compares well with childhood memories :) Still, I got to walk around for a couple of hours and look at everything, and eat junk food :) It would probably be more fun to go with friends, or a family would bring their kids.
