Grandpa
My grandpa is turning 89 tomorrow. Today he introduced us to his lady-friend, who is 88. I think my grandpa has a girlfriend! I haven't seen him this happy in several years...
Grandpa seemed to be a little concerned about making us understand how life goes on and grandma (before she died) had said she wanted him to keep on living life to the fullest. I say: whatvever makes grandpa happy is alright by me. And how cool is that, to get giddy over someone in one's so-called twilight years?!?!
It made me so happy to see him happy. It gave me pause, to think about the odd little funk I've been in lately. I'm not sure what's wrong with me...
