...in anticipation of the upcoming release of the blockbuster Treasure Island movie, some cheezy TV station is playing re-runs of the old TV series based (loosely) on the book. Coming into the middle of a story: after drugging the ship's chaplain and bumbling surgeon, one of the ship's crew, an inexperienced pirate, is sent aloft to shout orders down, impersonating the captain of the watch. "Steady. Clear ahead," he hollers. Shots of the almost full moon through the rigging, as the chaplain wakes, feels sleepy and heads to his quarters. "Clear ahead," the voice repeats. "Course change, turn port, Sou' by Sou'East. Sul Kingdom Zen Sol Tido." Shots of sailors looking confused at the order. "Said: Course change, turn port, Sou' by Sou'East," then, more hesitantly, "Sulking dozen saltido..." One of the (non-pirate) sailors mutters to his companion, "Sulking doesn't salt a dog, bah. Heard 'im the first time." Above, the inexperienced pirate finally realizes what he was supposed to have been saying... fade for commercial.
