yes i really just spent $71.84 on two wilco t-shirts and the sunken treasure tour dvd of my beloved jeff tweedy. i think i love my credit card now. it's okay though because i have a couple of fat checks i need to deposit. will do so tomorrow so i don't feel as guilty, but really i'm glad i did. the shipping cost was a bitch but i tried to look for wilco shirts all over the net and i couldn't find a single nice one. only their one store has the best wilco shirts and oh well if the shipping costs more than a pack of cigarettes. seeing how gay it is to work at marshalls, i should spend my money on something i will cherish for life. i still wear my stroke shirts non-stop so i really take care of my band shirts. aw. they're the best shirts in the world.
also, the dvd is certain to be the shitzzz. especially since jeff tweedy NEVER came to NYC since I've been in love with him. ergo, i've never seen him play live. i actually PRE-ORDERed it because i'm that devoted. :). and it comes with free postcards :D. and whoever buys it gets to download all the tracks on that dvd for free or some crazy jeff tweedy lovely way. i love his name so much now.
OH and the video game i've been waiting for has finally come to the states. yes, the very reason why i bought a nintendo ds lite was for cooking mama. and it's been out since september 12th except i forgot to keep tabs on it so i didn't realize it. but now that i know i will also be purchasing that tomorrow. X). it's only $19.99 so i haven't completely gone bankrupt yet. anyway, i'm working so it's not like i'm just spending and not making more money or saving. in fact, i've been saving up like a broke ass mother of 12 kids and i need a little fun. didn't i just justify my purchases in the beginning of this entry. sigh.
