the best of starts, the broken heart, the stone

Henry didn't wait long after getting the call from one of Olin's people (Mina is too soft a name for that woman) before getting on a flight to Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. They were lucky to catch him between projects, and besides, it would be warmer in Juárez than in Detroit.

So far, he's got a project schedule he's determined to stick to and a list of contractors he has to choose between, along with half a dozen other things on the fly (the appropiate people have to be bribed or cajoled, there's drug cartels to avoid, and he needs to figure out where he can get supplies for all this without being ripped off mercilessly) and it's nothing that breaks from his usual order of operations. He's done projects like this more times that he distinctly remembers. There's always some kind of kink, though, and he thinks when he gets another call about how the CEO funding this whole thing is going to be 'dropping by' that he's probably found it. He's heard of Oracle Enterprises before, and he admires their politics and their practices, but he doesn't appreciate having to take time off to come pick their CEO up.

Technically, he didn't have to do this personally, but a) he wants to know if he's going to be a problem immediately and b) it's probably a good idea to be respectful of the one who could pull the plug on the entire thing if he so chose. He doesn't want to be responsible for that by ruffling any feathers. So he waits inside the airport, flipping through a local newspaper and wondering what in the name of God Alexander Georgiou could want in Juárez.
