The flowers
I spent most of my morning crocheting today. I’m making these hip bolero fishnet crop tops. I finished Ginny and Georgia. What is up with all these teen sexy scenes? Have shows always been this raunchy or am I just getting old? Anyway, I thought it was okay. Tavi and I spent the afternoon together. She wanted dennys, her favorite. She ordered chocolate milk and the grand slam. She is obsessed with their pancakes. After that we drove to Old Navy. It was my first time really shopping with her in a long time. In the past I would just get stuff for her while I’m out or she was just super tiny so we just kind of picked things out without trying them on. Well now that she is a big kid we HAVE to try things on. It was very cute, she picked jeans with holes in them out. I loved seeing her look things over and pick stuff out. Her style is very chill.
On our way home, we sang Regina Spector together. She loves to sing. She uses my Spotify and picks a lot of lovely sing songy songs out that she no doubt knows all the words to. She has the sweetest little voice, I love to hear her sing.
Danny made dinner as usual. He made chicken parmigiana. We watched The Whale and I cried a lot. It was a very dark movie. Tavi got upset before bed because she insists on sleeping in ours every night. I got a whiff of her Bo again and it reminded me I never bought her deodorant.
