I made a new friend!
Her name is Irka (pronounced hear-ah) and she rules. She has a daughter the same age as Tavi and is new to RI. We have a dinner date in a few weeks and I'm excited to get to know them! Today was busy. We went to the arcade for the vintage fair and then went to the steel yard for the iron pour (which we only got to see part of b/c Tavi was fussing). It went a little later than expected so, it was still fun to get out and do things! Tim and mary were at the arcade this morning. They are getting married in just a few weeks! Irka and her fam were at the steel yard and we got to hang and Danny got to meet them for the first time. Tavi acutely are a chicken wing.. Like, chewed and didn't spit it out! Amazing. She wasn't so much into the Sparks and fire going on, only wanted me to to hold her (not dad). My back was killing me by the time we got home. Danny rubbed my back pretty good, I took an aspirin and some whiskey and so now I think is better time than any to SLEEP!
