Colosseum just looks better. Considering it's derived from "Colossal"...

I'm not sure why but Colosseum makes me think of some body organ or some kind of sea creature \o_O/ I DON'T KNOW WHAT OR WHY. /half tempted to throw up a poll now just for kicks.

...Maybe. That might be going a little overboard with the whole SSBB base xD BUT STILL MAYBE.

Still looks awfully tacky to me. Then again, I was always told it was Colosseum, I'm pretty sure Coliseum is an American mis-spelling of the original amphitheater, that kinda stuck.

FFF well I've seen both ways and I've actually used both XD But for some reason when I wrote the post I went with coliseum.

How long will the Colosseum be going on for? Or is it always going to be there? and idk why but I see Zelos as the best announcer ever~

It'll be a permanent fixture! Anyone will be able to use it and do random fights either with each other or with animals, but the tournaments times will vary. Depending on if we have any volunteers to help run and organize it, as well as how much interest there is, we may throw up some kind of schedule for the tournaments. Possibly once a month, maybe every other month. Again, it will depend on how much interest and whatever else is occurring in the game during that time.

Zelos being an announcer would be hysterical. Especially if there were women fighters.

Oh yay! In that case I'll definitely look into Zelos being an announcer if that's alright with you guys~ :) I originally wanted him to enter the tournament but announcing is more hysterical. XD

Sora wouldn't mind helping out with the coliseum (having been in a few tournaments himself). If he could do something along the lines of what Phil in Hercules does which is set up matches or tournaments, make sure people follow the rules, hand out the prizes (although he probably doesn't really need to do that) and announce when tournaments are going to be (me and Zelos-mun could collaborate on getting the news out if they want) then that'd be great. He can also be there to help heal if necessary.

Also, is there going to other things they can do there like just basic training using the monsters to fight against? Because just being able to have somewhere and something to spar with would be fun. And can people set up matches against other people?

We actually have the full description drafted up and it should be posted within the next few hours. But there are training/sparring areas, as well as the option to have matches set up by other characters!

Of course, what we have won't be set in stone, so if there's something missing or another idea you might have that isn't there, you are more than welcome to suggest it.
