A few questions:

1. Even with the Mod shop gone, would the basic utilities offered by the mod shop (starter kit, clothes, some food so one) does that mean they will be eventually offered again by a new shop or is that going to have to be found in the shopping district?

2. With the credit system gone everything is free?

3. With the credits gone will there be a new reward system of some sort?

4. And, not a question, I think that the AC at the end of the month is a good idea.

Excellent questions!

1. Yes, all those items can be found anywhere.

2. Everything has always been free. The credits were really more for the bigger things like the passes. So everything is still free as of this moment~

3. We're still thinking and working on that. For now we're saying no, but we're always open to ideas!

4. Thanks for the input!

That's the way activity check should be done, in my opinion!

Question~

Since the credit system is being scrapped, will we still have to keep track of the dreams and what types they are? In other words, is the Dream Bank Account still necessary as it stands with the color-coding and such?

Nope, you no longer have to keep track of them! Unless you want to.

Yes please on the AC changes. Both of those ideas appeal to me. It'd be nice to have the dreams something that are done on an as-wanted basis. I'd been avoiding doing them more often because I felt like I needed to save the ideas for future ACs; I lacked confidence I'd be able to think up interesting alternatives for them.

It also makes more sense to have ACs at the end of the month, if only for ease of memory. I try to keep an updated archive of everything I've done, but my obsessive-compulsive side still likes the idea of confining each check to a singular month. It's just cleaner.

Possibly this is a dumb question, but when characters vanish will their names still disappear from the contact lists? I was rather confused by characters no longer knowing other characters' statuses: does this apply for everything up to and including leaving Somarium, or is it just characters in a sleep coma or on hiatus who no longer have any indication they're not contactable?

The only dumb questions are the ones left unsaid!

When characters are dropped, or completely leave Somarium, the names will still be removed from the contact list. It's only when characters are either dead or set into a hiatus state that the names rename unchanged.

Before now, when a character was on hiatus -- either through sleep coma or random disappearance -- their name would be blue with an asterisk (*) next to it. When a character was dead, the name would be grayed out.

Instead of those different status indicators, the name will look completely normal. In effect it's supposed to not make it easy for characters to figure what's going on with others.

I hope that made sense and cleared up the confusion!

Thank you; that makes perfect sense to me now. Just thought I'd check I hadn't totally misunderstood.

I like the idea of the activity checks being at the same time each month, too. I only joined in the last cycle so I haven't been required to pass an activity check yet, but that looks a lot simpler to understand than it did before.

Glad I could help, and don't worry about asking questions for clarification. Sometimes what we first write up makes perfect sense to us since we know more about the details, but that doesn't mean it will be the same for everyone else.

So far it sounds like that's what most players will think, and I agree that it does look a lot easier to not only understand, but also handle. Thanks for the input, especially since you're still a new player!
