It's a Prank Fest and General Halloween Plotting Post!
For the month of October, to help gear up and set the mood for Halloween we thought it would be more fun if we took the "trick" from "trick-or-treat" and basically made this month a giant prank fest. For the test of courage, the basic idea is everyone would be able to go in groups of 2-3 (either random select or planned) into a pre-designed scary course and then other characters/NPCs would just try to scare the living daylights out of them. As proof that the group went through the whole course, they only have to get to the exit. This would just be a one night thing, and I haven't figure out a date yet. I am very willing to connect the Test of Courage event with other Halloween parties/events that are going on, so just let me know!
I also had the suggestion for graveyard flashlight tag, but I ran into the snag of how it would actually work threadwise (like who would know who was "IT" and not wanting someone to feel left out). So if anyone has any suggestions, I'd be totally open to them!
ACE'S THING: Rogue Black Knight
Basically Ace will be dressed up like a medieval black knight (complete with the armor) and will be riding through Somarium randomly chasing people. With his sword. And taking swings at people's heads but purposefully missing them unless your character is a certain carnival cat that recently arrived, then all bets are off. He'll be under disguise and will try not to break his cover. So no cheating! No one should realize it's him unless he actually slips up OR if your character has the ability to identify a character through other abilities like telepathy or soul reading. That's all fair game! Of course anyone is free to fight him and try to expose him that way, too |D
I'll make an open post for it at some point that anyone can tag into, but unless someone tells me otherwise, I may also send him out to any open posts as well 8D Of course I'll choose ones that would be more open for this sort of thing since I don't think all players want their character being chased around.
