They will be dated. Hopefully I'll get to that tomorrow. If you need an idea, all the information pertaining the tunnels appears in July, 2009 and everything after was in October, 2009.

The memory/desire card... even if you weren't here for the initial start of the memory card event, do you still get a card?

Yes, new characters will get both cards, whereas characters that were already here will just get the new World Memory Card and the original card they had received before will just be "updated" with the new memory.

For new characters:

The first card, the Memory Card, will have both any random memory of the character PLUS the Vision of Desire from the very beginning. When the character first uses this card, only that first, random memory will play automatically. The Vision of Desire will not and must be "activated" by the character via selecting the "?" on the following screen.

The second card, the World Memory Card, is a separate card that will contain only the memory as described in this post. It will also be with the Memory Card, or at least in close proximity.
