Shinji: Another character you make me "ABUH" with with your ICness. I'm huge on Eva and you know this and so I felt super bad when you told me you were scared to play Shinji because I know the canon so well! I'm really stunned by how easily you picked him up, just like with Setsuna. I've already told you that I imagine everything you write for Shinji spoken in Spike Spencer's voice, which is. A GOOD THING. Because you're so damn IC. XD He's the right blend of insecure and moe and SHINJI.

I love seeing him have this small chance of happiness in Somarium and really, it makes me feel bad that as Asuka I have to try my best to counteract that, lmao. But again, another thing we've talked over extensively together... Just like with Setsuna, Shinji centred himself around Unit 01. Definitely not in the way Asuka did with Unit 02 (turning it into her entire point of pride/reason for living orz), but Shinji used Unit 01 as something to justify and prove himself to his father with. I know that there's an immense sense of relief for Shinji when it comes to being freed from that all and sent to Somarium, but I also think that you need to touch base with the loss that comes with that (he's away from the father who, even though he ignored him, he still tried to hard to impress).

Basically what I mean is... What is Shinji living by now? What's his center pillar in Somarium? (Plz say Asuka *SHOT* Okay kidding.) Because while he gains a sort of freedom from the release of his responsibilities and duties, he's losing his father and therefore his only role of importance in his father's eyes. Seeing Shinji be torn between "I can be happy now" and "But I need to be an Eva pilot for my dad" would make me a happy fangirl :'D But... seriously, everything you've done with Shinji so far, I love so much.

And... We definitely need to thread more with Shinji and Asuka which I will be remedying this very weekend. I also expect Valentine's Day hilarity with you. 8D CONFESSION TIME

Thank you so much for your comments. Shinji and Setsuna are the two characters I'm more concerned about, and it's always nice to hear that from someone whose skill as a RPer is A++++ (oh, not to mention someone who I admire and care for, that helps too :P)

Your points about Setsuna and Shinji are really, really valid - and I know we've talked about them before, and I agree with you. I'll definitely make sure to do it going forward <3
