[Point in time taken from canon] before the final dungeon/last boss
[Why this character is an "add-on"] Though Midna is a large and important character in her canon, the way I plan on playing her would make her an ‘add-on’ as opposed to a major character. She would really only be used as Link’s translator and would be around mostly for lulz. As such, there would be no relationships between her and other characters besides Link.
[Background] As the princess of the Twili, Midna was born a descendant of the Dark Interlopers, the dark ones who tried to take control of the sacred realm but were banished away by the three goddesses. Because of this, Midna and her people were born in the Twilight Realm. There Midna, being a descendant of the dark ones, she lived as ruler until the day that Zant, another twili who was influenced by Ganondorf, usurped her. As Midna became trapped in the form of an imp, she watched as her people were turned into shadow monsters. Knowing that only she could free her people, Midna turned to the hero Link, now trapped in both the Twilight Realm and in the form of a wolf, for assistance in her mission. Though the realm of Light was in as much danger as the Twilight Realm, Midna initially cared only for helping her own world.
Telling Link that the only possible way they can defeat Zant was with the Fused Shadows, a magical artifact that comes in many pieces, the two set out on a journey and, eventually, recovered all four pieces. After gaining the final Fused Shadow, Zant appeared and attacked Midna, leaving her for dead. Racing to Hyrule Castle, Link managed to get the dying imp to Princess Zelda. Giving up her own magic and body, Zelda saved Midna by giving up her powers to her. With Zelda gone, Midna and Link set off to find the Master Sword so Link could change back into a human.
After retrieving the sword, the next step was to find the Twilight Mirror, which would allow the duo to go back into the Twilight realm and face Zant. It was right after they set out on this mission that Midna is brought into Somarium…
[Personality] At first look, Midna seems to be a very selfish person. Being cynical and rude, she is completely apathetic to the dwellers in the Realm of Light, only caring to save for her own world. She openly mocks Link, teasing him and calling him her slave.
However, after the encounter with Zelda, the imp's personality changed for the better. Realizing that both realms needed to be saved, her open hostility simmered down and her usually numerous cynical remarks dwindled. She cares for Link and wants to see him succeed and not just for the sake of their home worlds either.

- Her hair is very useful throughout the entire game. It can grab objects or enemies in a very creepy way. It can turn into sharp spikes and impale people. Midna also uses her hair to beckon Link forward when she has found somewhere safe for him to jump.
- Due to her being the true Twil heir, she has many special abilities she can perform. Such as grabbing objects from outside of the twilight realm and dragging them into twilight, or breaking the particles in her body down so she can move through things, such as the bars of Link’s cell. With her power to create Twilight Portals she can also use the portals. And she can destroy the Twilight Mirror, but that is completely irrelevant in Somarium.
- Other abilities include psychokinesis, the ability to change her form, storing items in a hammer space, and creating strong waves of energy that are powerful enough to break through metal.
[Other important stuff] Psst. Midna is secretly hot.
