[ Rose is once again venturing around the city and/or the village to gather information when - low and behold - she comes across the somewhat familiar hat. One that was mentioned to be special in previous conversations with the boy dubbed as 'the greeter of Somarium.'

She simply stops and stares, watching as the bag beside it begins to move.

Oh...it's a cat. ]

Either Touya has become a nudist or he's turned into a cat. I'm not entirely sure which is worse.

[The cat emits a sound that is split between a meow and a hiss. A nudist-?! As if he'd become something like that!

He now proceeds to try and tell her that, but all she's getting is the feline meowing at her.]

[ Oh, well that's just rude. ]

...I don't understand 'meow'. [ Picks up Touya's hat because it'll get dirty on the ground. ] I was joking about him turning into a cat.

[His head perks instantly when his hat is lifted, turning his gaze to peer up at her with ears twitching at the word 'cat.'

'Cat'? Is that what he was? He glances down to his paws, lifting one and inspecting the soft padding on the bottom. He thought he was a Purrloin but-- he was brown, Purrloin were a purple color. ..What kind of Pokemon was a 'Cat'?]

[Ruri was thinking about taking the day to properly explore Espoir, but before she could reach the village she came across a curious sight. A discarded hat, bag and Dreamberry resting on the ground, and... that hat looked vaguely familiar?

As she tried to recall just where she had seen it recently, a tiny brown head poked out from underneath the bag. She blinked twice before her mind registered just what the head belonged to.]

A... cat? [Nggh one of her biggest weaknesses. Not that she'd admit it.] And that's... Touya-san's hat, isn't it? I wonder where he's gone off to without his things...

[The cat nearly stumbles over his four newly obtained legs, plopping on the ground after squeezing from under the bag. Till moving up, angling his neck to peer at his things that look so much bigger to him now.

The ends of his tail begins to twitch back and forth, ears pressing back as he emits another distressed meow, mostly asking him what was going on.]

[When the cat emits a troubled meow, Ruri is quick to crouch down and study it. It was... very cute urge. to. pet. rising. and by the way it was acting, she assumed it was lost. But, it was with Touya-san's things, so maybe the cat belonged to him?]

Are you... Touya-san's cat? Ah, I didn't know he had a cat too...

[Ears twitch, tilting his head to peer up at the girl as she crouched by. Mostly his attention switched to her at his name, but at her question the cat is shaking his head.]

[Polka had seen a lot of animals recently, either ones that lived here or ones she figured had just arrived here somehow so hearing the sound of a cat, didn't surprise her too much. What did surprise her, is that there were clothes near by the cat.

Did that mean this was... Polka shook her head trying not to think about it, and knelt down to talk to the cat]

Hello there [she made sure her voice was soft, so she didn't scare off the cat] Are you okay?

[Touya hadn't recognized the girl (and man was she so much bigger in this new view) so he may have flinched away on instincts. But he perked up after, listening to her and seeming to try and reply. He was fine but confused, sorta lost on what just happened.

Of course, all he really seem to be doing was meowing at the girl, repeatedly.]

[Polka giggled a little, this cat was definitely cute, that was for sure.]

I see mr kitty, I think you might have used an animal card in your dreamberry.

[she figured she could sort of understand the cat]

[..A card, he remembers a card! He sorta stumbles, but gets a hang of walking and looks over the Dreamberry.

That's what changed him?]

[ Mami doesn't know Touya, but hey! she likes cats. she wasn't even sure that domestic animals lived here, but it's certainly a nice thing to see. it's such a cute little thing, as well.

she kneels down, motioning for the little kitty to come near. ]

Don't worry, I won't hurt you. [ at the back of her mind, she's wondering why there's a hat and bag... not to mention an abandoned Dreamberry. ]

[The brown cat hesitates, having glanced at the items around him. He can remember clearly what happened, but the problem was it didn't make any sense. Not just yet, at least. Ears twitch and he glances to the girl, not recognizing her.

With a flick of his tail, he decides to approach as she gestures, meowing to her.]

[ oh god, so cute. with a soft touch, the pets his head when he's close enough. ] You don't look like you have an owner... are you lost?

[oh-- that, was actually nice. before he knows it, he's purring, nerves relaxing and almost calm.

though at the questions he almost snaps out, glancing to the gathered items before meowing to her.]

Huh? Isn't that Touya-san's?

[Touka walks over, curious. Then she sees the cat.]

Hi, kitty kitty! Do you belong to Touya-san?

[Now here's someone Touya knows, he immediately perks and begins to meow to her, frantically.

He is Touya! Of course, little does he know, he's a cat and people don't understand meowing.]

What's wrong, kitty kitty?

[She crouches down to pet him.]

[What's wrong? Well, this whole thing for one--

Oh. Distracted by petting, leaning into the touch with a delighted purr.]
