[ In the short space between his arrival and the very brief conversations he'd had with a few ... ghosts from the past, it was frustration that had become a constant companion. An abstruse stirring, the only flicker of feeling in the deep stretch of loneliness that he'd suddenly found himself in. His living quarters - although spacious and very much up to the standards of what one might expect from Genesis - soon began to feel claustrophobic the more he brooded between its walls. And so, venturing outside for a brisk walk and fresh air had become the most painless way of soothing his frayed nerves.
Upon his day, his aimless wandering had brought him to the slums. It was such a wretched sight. A far cry from the rest of the picturesque place but something made him linger, sharp gaze scanning the area. For what, he couldn't really say. Perhaps, it was due to the fact that these slums reminded him of slums back in Midgar. Take away the sky and he'd be well on his way to believing he was a short distance away from ShinRa's headquarters.
Now, perhaps if he were to humour himself ...
A small movement was caught in his peripheral vision and he glanced over to his left to see a young girl slowly wandering down an alleyway. He watched her hesitate, probably deliberating what direction to take before jumping violently as a stray cat waddled past. He drew closer to where she stood, footsteps silent. What a pity she wasn't facing his direction. After all, he'd hate to give her another fright. When he called to her, his voice was soft, melodic - perfect for frazzled nerves. He kept his distance, waiting for her to turn and face him, his gaze sweeping past her wings for the time being. ]

[The voice makes her freeze for a moment, wings perking up slightly in response to her surprise.
Guidance?
Nill turns, eyes widening as she looks up at the man a little ways away from her. Her first thought is that she needs to run, but the calming and soft tone of this man is what keeps her from doing just that. The second thing she notices is how lovely his eyes are. Such a pretty, pretty blue. They remind her of sapphires, something she had only vaguely seen from the windows of shops.
There's something about him though that seems...lonely? It feels something similar to the emotions she has felt before. Loneliness. Brooding. With the way he carries himself Nill knows that he's strong though-and maybe a possible friend. At the moment she feels no animosity from him. So, Nill takes a few very hesitant steps forward before nodding, offering him a nervous but sincere smile.]
...
[She then remembers the Dreamberry. Well, it has a "typing feature" so it might be of help. Carefully, Nill types a very short sentence in hopes that he'll understand and holds it up to him.]
[ Genesis remained as he was, giving the poor thing a few moments to settle down. He could practically see the stream of emotions that flitted across her beautifully expressive face. She seemed doll-like and vulnerable. Frightened, if the haunted look in her eyes and timid movements were anything to go by.
For a moment, he find himself wondering just what his intentions were, after all. It wasn't like him to stop and consider something, someone like this. Well, not unless he had anything to gain by it. No, Angeal was the one likely to take strays under his wing. It was something which had never been part of Genesis' nature. Actions of kindness were few and far in between.
He cocked his head slightly, raising a fine eyebrow in bemusement. His sharp gaze was able to easily pick out the message typed on Nill's DreamBerry. Gently, he took the device from her hands, fingers pressing a few choice buttons. He handed it back to her, wordlessly. The image of a map of Somarium was now displayed across her screen. ]
It would do well to leave this place behind. Head for the residential district. Make obtaining shelter your first and foremost priority.
[ He was in a precarious place - had been, for a while now. It was dangerous to be around others, dangerous to be by himself. The feel was unsettling, to say the least. He didn't wait for a response, but rather, turned and began to walk away. Time heals all wounds, they say. He felt as though he'd been waiting for an eternity. ]
[Nill gives him a curious glance as he plucks the Dreamberry from her fingertips. Well...he probably knows how to work the thing better than her. Upon having it given to her yet again she looks at the map and smiles with relief. There. Well. That helps quite a bit.]
...!
[As soon as she looks up he's all ready walking away. But she didn't get to thank him yet! He can't just leave! A small look of exasperation crosses her face as she shoots him a quick message over the Dreamberry.]
