Up on the stage of this particular jazz club was a woman, clad in a pink dress with flowers tucked into her short, curly hair. This woman was known to most as Rose and not by her given name; Aerith. In fact most probably didn't even know that Rose wasn't her real name, there was no reason to believe otherwise, right? Anyway--
As the music went from sultry and smooth to a more upbeat tone, 'Rose' started climbing atop the piano nearby, rolling around and dropping a dethorned rose into the pianist's lap before she slid off and headed into the crowd. Occasionally she would stop, half-serenading one of the men in the audience before dropping yet another rose and then prancing off to repeat the process until the song was over.
