[Isabelle had taken to wandering to clear her mind. When her feet brought her to the bustling arts district, she probably shouldn't have been as surprised as she was by the spontaneously appearing maid service fliers. Approaching one, she raised one brow warily, scanning it for any pertinent information - she had no real need for a maid. She had brothers for that.

[But when she spies the girl who seems to be pinning up the posters, her brow goes up slightly more.] Hey. Aren't you a bit young to be throwing up ads everywhere in hopes of a little dough?

[ she turns around to see the woman speaking to her. she smiles politely. ]

I know i'm a little below the average working age, but I really need the money. I've been doing jobs like this for awhile though.

[weird kid. gotta say. Izzy just warily shrugs.]

I'll have to take your word for that. Is there really enough work around here, though?

[ she's been called worse. ]

It really depends. Sometimes there are dry spells, but I do my best with whatever money I can come across.

[she turns to peer at one of the posters intently.]

Right. So...you're a maid. What makes you better than the other maids around?

[shootermagica]

[ she nods. ] I certainly am. I've been cleaning houses since I was a little girl, I provide my own supplies and don't overprice.

I have references as well, if you'd like to see them.

I think my brothers might have my head if I hired a maid without telling them. I'll take your word for it.

I see. Well, I appreciate you trusting my word.

Oh? [ she looks over the poster. ] Do you have any suggestions?

Something fabulous and beaded. [she shrugs.] Unless you're appealing to those old-fashioned biddies in huge houses. Which I guess you might be, because they'd pay you more.

Hm... I suppose I could give that a try. Thank you.

[ she giggles a little. ] Granted, that wasn't my aim. But if they really do attract people like that, then I won't complain.

Yeah, no problem. Work is work, right? [she laughs a little too.] But I'm sure there are younger people who live in big houses too. [like herself.]

[shootermagica]

That's right. I'll take whatever I can get. [ she smiles a bit wider. ]

You think so? I haven't been able to meet such a person yet.

[she shrugs lightly. Good thing she isn't wearing her wedding ring still. That would be a dead giveaway.] Yeah. I'm sure it'll happen. Probably. They have to exist.

[ she definitely would have taken notice to that. houses with married couples tend to pay more. ]

I'm sure they do, in a city as large as this. I'd like to meet them, perhaps hear their stories. So many interesting people live here.

[except she's a widow. Hence the lack thereof. And her brother would have poor Mami's head.]

And I bet a few of them would be more than willing to tell you about it.
