[ --after your check-in, Theodore's waiting just inside a room, in his white lab coat, looking over records. once you walk inside, he looks up with a smile. ]

Oh, hello.

[There's a soft knock.]

[ oh--he looks up from looking over patient notes, quick to open the door and kneel down to Ritsuka's height. he smiles; sure, his father smiles to everyone else, but there's a special fond smile that's only for Ritsuka. he lays a hand on his head. ]

Well, what a surprise. Everything alright?

[loving_kitten]

Ah yeah just stopped by to give you this. [He smiles and closes his eyes for a moment before look up. He holds up his dad's lunch.] You left it on the table by the door.

[ oh--! he takes his lunch, and kisses his forehead. ]

Yes, that's sort of important... thank you. I can always count on you.

I-It was nothing. [He blushes and bows his head.]

D-dad... it was just bringing you lunch.

Oh, 'just'! [ he laughs softly. ] Now, don't sell yourself short. If I didn't have lunch, I'd go hungry and eat something from across the street. And who knows what they put in their food, they're French.

[ well, British-French relations are still not... optimum. ]

Um... if... you're not... busy we could eat lunch together?

[ he brightens. yay, lunch with his son. he stands, opening the door for him. ]

Not busy at all.

Great! [He comes in and opens his own bag with his lunch inside.]

Would you like any tea, Ritsuka? [ as he sits down and clears his desk so they can both eat. ]

Earl Gray, or green tea? I think there's some jasmine and chamomile.

[ he ducks out for a minute, putting the kettle on and setting the cups out for both of them. he sits across from Ritsuka. ]

Now, is school alright? Haven't heard much since the last bit of grades.

Ah um, yeah it's fine. [Except there might be a bruise or two from bullying. He shifts and one of the cuts just might be a little visible on his neck from where he was shoved into a tree.] I have a test in latin coming up and two papers due soon.
