Oh, dear. Returning to Somarium was not on his agenda for the afternoon; far from it. But it couldn't be helped now, he supposed. Once more, everything he had left behind would be, for the present, immaterial - that is save for the fading scent of blood clinging to his clothes. How repugnant. Sebastian imagined these memories would soon fade into something like dreams - that is, were he familiar with the human experience of dreaming.
Well, well. He had more than enough references from his young master, during his previous stay in Somarium. How the earl despised having his dreams made public, much to Sebastian's amusement. It would be a lie if he claimed not to have watched each of them as they were broadcast, considering it of professional interest to be informed of the earl's subconscious thoughts, and of course the demon thrilled to have an uninterrupted glimpse of Ciel Phantomhive's fears and desires, unedited and unprotected. Asleep, the earl was unable to bury and repress these things from not only Sebastian, but the dream world at large. That must be unnerving, indeed.
Chuckling to himself, Sebastian tucked the watch back inside his vest and continued walking the familiar path towards the Phantomhive mansion.
