The weather may have decided to be completely disagreeable on this miserable and stormy first day of spring, but Naomi really couldn't put off saving her errands until later. Beyond the usual groceries she needed for herself and her guest for the week, the doctor had noted that the medical supplies in her lab had dwindled down to dangerously low levels. It wouldn't be wise to put off her restocking until later when the weather cleared, especially when the 'end-of-the-month-event' was drawing so close.
So the slender woman is bundled up in her favorite black coat and is attempting to shield herself from the heavy rain with a rather flimsy-looking umbrella. As long as the wind doesn't pick up and yank it out of her tight grasp, she should make it home just fine.
Though she certainly wouldn't be opposed to someone helping her with the weighty bag in her other hand.
