Soon enough, Haseo arrived, normally he didn't mind being dragged on silly adventures with Atoli, he even liked it, (sometimes) but this was---against his will. He sighed irritably, as he all but walked in, hand on one hip.
"Might as well make the best of it right? " He said dryly, but he only sounded sour.
Atoli could just sense Haseo's irritability, not to mention how obvious it radiated from him. She paused before she said anything, still feeling bad about this.
"If...if you really don't want to come, it's alright, Haseo..." She said softly, her gaze lowering. Really, she didn't want to force Haseo into anything.
Great. She's doing that face. . He sighed some, before beginning to walk towards the door. "It's just like a Quest, right? Except there aren't any monsters. Let's go." He waited for her to stand up.
Atoli pauses, but then she smiles just a little. She nodded, getting to her feet, coming to stand next to him. Her left hand went to her right elbow, and her gaze went to the ground before it came back up to him.
"Yes, that's one way to look at it." He didn't seem as frustrated, which was brightening her mood for sure, so have a more relaxed smile Haseo. "Just like back in The World! Wow, it's really been a while since I've gone on a Quest..."
With her going back and forth to the doctor back home, she had been so busy! And it had been even longer since she had done anything with just Haseo. All their training had been along with Alkaid. It kind of just figured that she was brought here before she got to go training, just her and Haseo.
At that, his eyes lowered some. Of course not, Atoli's player had been at the hospital for Doll Syndrome..The World was important to her, it was where she felt safest so--
Dammit.
Didn't he owe her this much? Sure being dragged around was annoying but at the same time--"A lot different from a Quest, more like a shopping trip.." He replied dryly, walking beside her, lips slightly twitching. Typical Atoli. .she'd hardly be the person to actually take advantage of the arm-band and make him do her bidding. That was just how she was.
The shops were beginning to come into focus up ahead, the sounds of people evident.
"Well, shopping isn't so bad?" Atoli gave Haseo a smile, trying to keep the mood light, not wanting Haseo to be in a bad mood. It wasn't ever fun when he was in a bad mood. "I guess...it's more like preparing for a Quest then?"
As the shops came in view, she couldn't but get a bit excited. "Oh, look Haseo! I see the shops!" It had been so long since she had really gotten to do anything fun. With her arm and having to go to the doctors so much, she hardly had time to enjoy herself, let alone be allowed to. She had even had to cut back her time on The World, which really upset her. That was her favorite place to be back home...
" I guess so. " He replied casually, walking beside her with a raised eyebrow at her enthuisasm. "Yeah, there they are.." It wasn't that big of a deal! But there was all sorts of stuff hanging or being displayed on tables, so it wasn't that bad.
Well, it was a big deal to her. She hadn't been out to enjoy herself like this in a while, so she really wanted to have fun.
Atoli giggled, grabbing Haseo's hand with her good hand, beginning to pull him from shop to shop. She stopped before one that sold brightly colored masks, gasping in awe. "Oh, they're so pretty! Look at these, Haseo!" She smiled as picked up a blue and green glittery mask adorned with matching feathers and held it to her face. "How do I look~?"
Haseo flushed a little bit at that tug, but let her drag him, a weakly muttered, "Hey" as his response as he blinked quizzically at the masks. At the mask on her face, he tilted his head, before smirking some, amusement on his own face.
"I don't know, I can barely see you with all those feathers."
To that, Atoli just giggled. "Well that's the point, isn't it? " She smiled, putting the mask back down, her golden gaze flickering among the others at the table. She finally spotted a black and red one, picking it up, and holding it in Haseo's direction. Knowing he probably wouldn't hold it to his face, she did the next best thing: she closed one eye, positioning it just so that it almost looked like it was on him.
Haseo raised an eyebrow at that, snorting some. "Tch..just for a minute. " He grunted, and slipped it on his face, red eyes matching the red of the spots. Yeah, this is why he was 'The Terror of Death'. Not.
"Might as well make the best of it right? " He said dryly, but he only sounded sour.
