It had taken writing a note on the refrigerator to finally get a hold of everyone. Ken wasn't much of a planner nor did he like interrupting people he was only acquaintances with, such as Kain's friends Rydia and Cecil. One can tell because while he spoke to Kain with a familiarity, and thus only his first name, he would refer to Cecil and Rydia as Mr. Cecil and Miss Rydia. They didn't understand why he had initially spoken to them by their last names so he changed it a little to still reflect what he had always grown up to do.
But now Wormmon had arrived and he wanted to formally introduce everyone to him along with explain his rather unique nature. And so, Ken waited in the living room, Wormmon nestled in his arms.
